Letter to Agnes Alexander from Martha Berry thanking her for the $20.00 she sent to the school. Miss Berry informs her that their needs were very great during that time because over 900 students begin their fall term soon. She confesses that she will have to work hard if she is going to "provide them with their daily bread." Miss Berry informs Miss Alexander that she spent the entire summer at the schools and as a result their donations have been lacking. She then confesses that she feels very discouraged.
