Letter to Henry K. McHarg from Martha Berry informing him of how sorry she was that he letter reached him at the same time as two other appeals. She informs him that she is s friend of Samuel Inman and that the last time she saw him he invited her to luncheon. She also states that when she comes to New York again that the invitation is still open. She informs him of the children that she has "tagged" and that she promised to return for them to attend the schools. She wants to do so before they get married because if they do she states that they will just drift from cabin to cabin. She also asks him to visit the schools if he ever comes south.
