Donation from Dora Sedgwick Hazard to the Berry Schools

Description

Hazard donates $150 to the Berry Schools in response to the Lillian campaign. Dora Sedgwick Hazard was the founder of the Solvay Guild, which studied child health work and established a hospital fund for needy cases. She was also an active member of the women’s suffrage movement, organized the Women’s Political Union to fight for women’s rights, and served as that organization’s president until suffrage was gained.
