Mr. Hollister sent a check to Mrs. Berry for his quarterly pledge of $75. Mrs. Hollister had established the pledge since she had so enjoyed meeting Mrs. Berry, but he is not sure whether he continue the pledge due to his income being based on his business. He may have to reduce the yearly pledge in proportion to the reduction of his income, but still expressed appreciation for what Berry was doing with the Schools.

Alice E. Kurtz, Emily V. Hammond's junior secretary, sends copies of the checks sent to Martha Berry when she was in New York.

Hammond sends checks received and advises that the donors not be sent another appeal for at least a year.
