A note from Martha Berry to C. B. Keim, instructing him on having the boys' choir sing a certain song for the anniversary, as well as to combine the bands for at least one rehearsal for the occasion.
Martha Berry has found out the band no longer plays at noon in front of the dining hall as they had for years past. She wants them to begin playing again at that time. She also states that, even though they want to play in town, they aren't good enough yet.
Berry asks Keim to have the band play until all of the boys have entered the dining hall.
