Berry instructs Hamrick not to let boys who have not had measles drive or run errands between the schools. She asks him to speak with a boy about his reckless driving, have all of the trucks cleaned and serviced, and to spend time improving conditions around the new resevoirs.
Mr. Hoge writes to Mr. Campsall to thank him and Mr. Ford for agreeing to "furnish...our flour requirements." He also asks when he can expect the recently requested cars and trucks. He doesn't want to annoy Mr. Ford about them, but doesn't want to spend money on fixing equipment in such bad condition.
