Mrs. St. John writes to Mrs. Learned to decline her "most alluring invitation" because Mr. St. John has to be in New York to help one of the boys get married. She says that she would love to hear Miss Berry and meet her since she so enjoyed the booklet Mrs. Learned sent her. She asks if Mrs. Learned knows if Miss Berry has a fixed charge for speaking because she'd like Miss Berry to come and speak to the boys at The Choate School.
E. Raymond Greenwood, secretary to the Headmaster, responds to Miss Berry's request and sends her the latest issue of the Phillips Academy catalogue.
