Martha Berry thanks Mrs. B. G. Mead to thank her for the feathers she has sent to Berry.
Berry writes to Hamrick about preparing a special order of feathers.
The Berry Schools explain that Miss Berry is away from the schools but that if she promised the feathers would be made up then Mrs. Matthews should send them to the schools and they'll put the order in for her. They warn her that it may take several weeks because the department hasn't been open for the summer.
Mrs. Matthews asks Miss Berry if the school can make her feathers into a fire screen instead of the fans her friend Mrs. Frank Inman purchased if she sends them right away.
Brown writes about curing and sending feathers for fans, her family's Christmas, and her pleasure at having had a small part in starting pine needle work at the school.
