Martha Berry thanks Mrs. Meade for her donation, as Berry is behind in expenses and unable to meet teachers' salaries.

The Berry Schools writes Mrs. Frank R. Chambers to thank her for her generous donation of $500 for three scholarships, clothing, and expenses.

In order to hold down expenses, Berry requests no entertaining or guests at meals at the Girls School for the summer. All entertaining should be done at the Boys School.

Martha Berry writes to Henry Ford to thank him for recent financial assistance and expresses her pleasure at having him, Mrs. Ford, and their friends at Berry.

Letter to Mrs. Carroll M. McGaughey from Martha Berry asking her if she would come to The Berry Schools for a few days to teach some of the girls how to make rush bottom chairs. Miss Berry informs her that they used to have a lady that knew how to make them but she left without teaching anyone how to make them. Miss Berry also informs her that she would be happy to cover all of her expenses to and from Berry if she would come teach the girls.
