A record of Mr. J Painter donating $150 within the months of July and August.
Sarah Baldwin wrote to Martha Berry and enclosed a check for $100 and she wanted it to go to Audrey's education. She also said she didn't know if Audrey was still in school but it would be nice to know where she was. She ended in mentioning her delight in having Miss Berry over to her apartment if she were to ever be in Pittsburgh.
This letter states that a Mr. William Stewart was not in a financial position to contribute a scholarship to the Berry Schools in 1927 because of the Federal Inheritance Tax and various estate taxes. The author urges Miss Berry to send more literature to Mr. Stewart in the hopes that he will send a scholarship in the future.
