Letter to Miss Bonner regarding the name and address change for Eleanor Stuart.
In this letter, Miss Berry tells Mrs. Hammond that she wishes she could make a trip to see her in Mt. Kisco, but she is unable to make it due to her need to stay at the schools and a bad sunburn she received on her last trip. She does, however, tell her about her niece, Marian, who has just married Prince Sigismondo Chigi of Rome, Italy.
Emily Hammond advises Martha Berry not to accept any offers from Mr. Tressier and asks Miss Berry to come to Mount Kisco for a week before going to Chicago.
Martha Berry asks if she may come to visit on July 14th. She also tells Mrs. Hammond that there is not enough money to start the new building, but she would like to start soon while the weather is good. Martha Berry also thanks Mrs. Hammond for sending a rug for Sunshine Cottage.
Martha Berry asks Mrs. Hammond to identify a man who inquired about The Berry Schools--a Mr. Pressier. Martha Berry also agrees to visit Mount Kisco.
