She also sends her love to Inez. Her handwritten note at the bottom of the letter says that Miss Berry and Mrs. Hammond are a team no one can resist and mentions a tea held in New York City.
Mr. Schmidt writes on the behalf of Mr. Horowitz that he can not pledge a full scholarship and explains that due to the number of similar requests that Mr. Horowitz and his wife had set up a foundation to take care of all the obligations they pledge to.
